Proxies can come in many different forms.
They are important internet entities that perform many different functions.
The most common uses of proxies are security, data caching, and many
strategies that can be used in order to reduce bandwith. There is also one
very big function of proxies that is probably the most important thing that
they do. Proxies are a key function in filtering and censorship.
Filtering proxies are important because they protect you from things on the
Internet that can be potentially dangerous to your computer. These things can
include cookies, unwanted ad banners, different Java applets, or other things
that can slow down the computer. These proxies are important because such
applications can cause real damage to a computer’s operating functions. They
can both slow down the computer and force problems within the hard drive.
When proxies aren’t busy filtering through the things that can hurt your
computer, they are doing other important things. One such process is a
censoring process that ensures that surveillance services are not monitoring
your every movement. Many proxies are anonymous, meaning that they perform
their duties under a veil. Be careful, though, because not every proxy has
the benefit of operating under that veil.
With so many options in proxies, including web based proxies and filtering
proxies, there is quite a bit of flexibility available to website owners.
Proxies play an important role for computers and without them, nearly all
function would be completely impossible. Choosing the right type of proxy
is an important process for web owners who are looking to optimize their
activities on the Net. If you happen to choose the wrong proxy, then you
could be in for some bumpy online activity. Essential internet function
depends upon choosing the web proxy that will save costs and maximize the
amount of bandwith that is available.
Most of you know that proxy sites get blocked by schools, and universities,
and work places very often within a few days of their existence.
This is because not only people interested in using proxies visit daily the
proxy list sites, and do a search on the various search engines, but the
network administrators of the above mentioned institutions do the same.
We could of course stop promoting the proxy sites, and no longer place
these on the various proxy top lists, and directories, but the question
becomes: “How can these proxy sites be found by the once that like to use
the proxies?” Sure, we could make a mail list of interested users, and mail
them the lists of proxy sites, however, the earlier mentioned administrators
will subscribe as soon to these lists as do the users. Not promoting the
sites will be the answer, but this will limit the number of users and the site
will become a private proxy instead of a web-proxy.
You could start using the following site: Hide Way which uses a long list
of proxy sites. Keep safe and stay informed while secure and anonymous.
Talk to you soon.
